One of the places I spent the most amount of time is the Karen’der continent.
This vast land is split in the middle by the Khrador River which goes from north to south. Humans have built most of the cities you can find on it.
One of the largest towns on the continent is situated in the northern part of the landmass, in the region of Esquora. It’s the city of Shalma, also known as the great blue city. But the most impressive is Visperia, on the eastern side. If you get halfway of the great river, you’ll end up in the twin cities, Mahie on the West Bank, and Manie, on the East. Both have been built with the purpose of harvesting the mana that emanates from a source beneath the River. The cities, despite the fact that they were built by twin brothers, are in a continuous state of conflict.
If you go further south, you should know that a group of mercenaries occupy one of the most impregnable military installations. Its main building is the tower of Khrador.
On the western side of the continent, if you hope to find the finest objects on the land, you should go to the Hogava mountains, where the Magmiques have lived for hundreds of years in their impressive underground city. You may not be able to visit it, but you’ll surely find the store where they will sell you about anything.
The southern part of this side of the continent is home to the hordes of Ikuans who travel in their nomadic way, bringing their tents with them. They are a warrior people, so don’t try to get too close to them.
Once, a very long time ago, the continent was filled with immense forests which were home to the Kalweiri people. With the arrival of the many races, these millennial woodlands have given place to fields and cities. Still, the Kalweiri live in the most ancient forests of the continent.
You have to be aware that two forces reign over the northern part of the land. In the West, the armies of Drokanor, fallen knight, lord of darkness and Supreme Kentra who prays Dee Draken’nor, occupy a vast territory and keep a firm grip over their people.
On the eastern part, the forces of Vispa, Dee of light, maintain order with their many Kentras who mostly come from one of the three schools in Visperia. Tenants, knights of the light, Apredicants, the preachers of light, and the Orants, priests of Vispa are the sworn enemies of Drokanor’s forces.
To anyone who wishes to travel through this continent, I advise caution more than anything else.
